Hey folks on Itch,

I just uploaded version 0.1.7b (BETA) on my Patreon. You can check out the full Dev Diary HERE. For you Itchers waiting for 0.1.7, I'm apparently not able to upload games over 1GB unless I contact Itch first. 

Update Includes:

• - 2 H-Scenes
• - 1 Seasonal Scene 
• - A few scenes progressing the story (slightly)

This will bring our current total scenes in 0.1.7 (beta) to 5 H-Scenes, 1 Seasonal Scene, and several Main Story Scenes. I think I may be done with H-Scenes for 0.1.7 and will focus on polishing older scenes and continuing the main story. This will probably be ready by next month. Now for other news:

Important News for $2 Patrons:

After speaking with a few veteran developers in the field, I have decided to increase the price of "Early Access" to $5. Starting next month, this change will be in effect. $2 Patrons will still have access to Patreon posts and voting polls. However, they will no longer have early access to Scarlet Law.

Character Poll #1 Winner: Estelle

The votes are in and Estelle has won the popularity contest! Serena, Laureate, Makoto, and Rita rounding out the top 5. Estelle will have a very short seasonal event in this small beta update. This event can be easily missed if you do not do the quest immediately, so make sure you check your quest log!

I thought about doing another character poll for next month but I've decided against it. The reason being is that, based on how much of a landslide Estelle won, I can only assume that she'll easily win again. Also, I don't think it's that interesting to keep repeating the same poll over and over, so I'll think of something else for our next poll (which will be conducted next month).

Things to expect from next month:

After playing through SL from start to finish (again, for the 1000th time), I've noticed how crappy my  earlier renders are compared to the newer parts. I'm planning on going back to alter some of the other scenes and polish them off for 0.1.7's full release. I'm also intend to finish Rita's duel for next month (thus ending 0.1.7). Hopefully, I'll be able to have something to show you guys in another two weeks.
