Played through most of the game and I am divided. One half I like the game as it is good but with the other half the story is painfully frustrating. So this will come off as probably a rant or tyraid, I like the gameplay but hate how irritating the characters can be.
The game needs work, it has problems on Android and ends up closing out on me when I play for a time. The auto saves are also not consistent so it makes these occurrences a pain. So manually saving is a constant necessity. Other than that it isn't to bad as a game still in development.
As for the story, the characters are mixed, some you can like and others are just painfully annoying. The main character is an idiot as far as I can see. He is constantly pushed around by everyone, with that type of tendency it is a miracle he went out of his way to save anyone, given the first choice in the game which is a serious one, he is either pathetic or someone who is at least trying, and his redeeming quality being he isn't a complete scumbag and tries to help others. The other characters are a mix of hardworking or smart people with quirks that make them likable, or they are the most inept and aggravating of the cast. It's hard playing the game when characters cause problems again and again, and don't learn or change, the MC who is the player being one of those characters.
The game is fun but is dragged down by characters who will repeat the same tendencies of causing problems and doing really dumb things. I actually had headaches dealing with certain characters and story moments, because they were that dumb. So I am taking a break from this game. I want to see this game again when it is more developed, so hopefully the Android version gets some tweaks by then to.
Thanks for making this game JYP GAMES, but I can't fully enjoy playing it. Please accept my apologies for how rude this comment must have been, I do like this game and the mysterious Scarlet lore, it is just grating to deal with characters who are so frustrating.
If i remember this game right at least the last time i checked it out its not so much that the mc is punchable its that he seems week. The author seems to be trying to make him seem more likable by making him weaker which is having an opposite effect at least that is what is bothering me. He is a push over perv remincent of Issei but without Issei's good qualities of actually being decent underneath the perverseness while also having potential to back up. Also in the potential department actually considering giving this another shot to see if that particular issue was fixed.Also the one animal eared girl betrayal scene has made me reluctant to give it another shot am debating with myself.
My issue with the MC isn't really that he's weak. It's that he barely seems to have any redeeming qualities at all. Or rather, the few redeeming qualities he has seen to be continuously ignored in favor of him just being a pathetic, perverted, borderline rapey moron. The beginning was good. He was an unmotivated dude who just kinda existed, then he's presented with a crisis in his household and he steps up and does his best to resolve it. Same with his crush and with a few others. But the character really seems to start going downhill past any initial interaction he has with anyone. To the point that he becomes extremely unlikable extremely fast. Especially in how he deals with Estelle(who's a rather annoying character in their own right) and Atty. Playing through a good part of his interactions with them was extremely cringe. Even the "resolution" to those archs made me roll my eyes more than anything as he didn't really seem to grow or learn anything or face any real consequences. So it's a character who is initially flawed with plenty of room to grow, but that shows they will go out of their way to protect those he cares about, that then goes on to be the one violating those he supposedly cares about and facing little to no consequences for it and not really growing at all as a character.
Good day jyp games i just want permission to tell android gamers that there is a way to move save files with any games that run on renpy engine including scarlet law without using a pc or any external help by using mt manager. I will provide the instructions to you first if you are interested.
Just played the game for the first time, and i really like it. Makoto was my favourite until Rita started acting all nice and wholesome with Silvia and her hugging one another, she’s the cutest. Can’t wait for future updates 🫡

i saw the description in the front page and was about to report the game until i saw that every comment was positive. Checked it out and honnestly it's not what i expected when i saw "buy women" (LOL). It's a pretty good game.

Fair point. I will say that there are ~10 characters in the game and odds are that you're not going to like every single one of them. Strangely enough, Estelle is the most popular character by a mile and wins every poll. Thanks for giving SL a shot though. Sorry the game couldn't live up to your expectations.

that's the problem with compressing the game as much as possible to keep the installation easy. apk files can't exceed 2GB and for such a big game to meet that criteria quality has to be reduced.

i really love zhe game but i am insanely annoyed about estelle im at the point where the mc gets challanged to a death duel and shes facing no consequences even though she is accusing him of something he didnt do and not owning up to it even though its her fault i feel like it would be appropriat for the mc to finally say something to her or get really mad at her and make her change her behaviour by using her scarlet contract or something. Because her facing no consequences even after essentially killing the main character acussing him of rape and then revealing his true identity to someone who could easily infrom the holy knights to kill him in a few moments is rediculous i really love the game and your work the story is without most of estelles being a curse upon the mc a 10/10 sorry if this sounds mean but it really annoyes me i cant make you change the game or anything im just trying to vent my opinion have a nice day the game is insanely well made(minus the estelle parts for me)
I can't update on Android. Everything appears to work correctly (download says it's 3.15 and says it's installed), but then when playing there's no changes or new content and the version still says 3.14.
if it's an apk (not sure) execute it and tap update/upgrade. if that doesn't work copy your savegame folder (again not sure about the actual name) and uninstall 3.14m then install 3.15 and move the folder to it's old location so you don't have to start over

I'm the same as you lol. I also feel the money grind for some story quests isn't justified. The bad writing does make it more discouraging.

well "roommate" and "Landlady" are the defaults......while the text says "She is my Little [Roommate]...Which makes me her Big [Roommate]"
the Defaults are there.....but it's pretty clear what you should really put there for the relationship fill in.
